Shotover Moonlight Mountain Marathon & Ultra

Distances: 56K, 42.2K, 30K, 21.1K, 10K
The iconic Shotover Moonlight Mountain Marathon in Queenstown on 21 February 2026 has a 56km Ultra, Marathon, 30km, Half Marathon and 10km trail run.
The entire event takes place on the private Ben Lomond High Country Station which is not normally accessible to the public.
Transport is provided to the start of the marathon at Pipeline Bungy, Skippers Canyon, Queenstown and the event ends at Moke Lake, Queenstown. The 30km and half marathon start and end at Moke Lake. The 10km course runs alongside Moke Lake before traversing farm road, historic water races and then returning alongside the beautiful Moke Creek.
