Right, the sales bit

Same as the races: this is how the site keeps the lights on. The free listing isn't going anywhere, and it keeps the things that make the directory worth reading, which is your price and your qualifications. A directory you can't compare anyone on is just a list of names.

What the paid ones buy you is the enquiry. On the free listing someone reads your profile and then leaves to go and find you again on a site they've never seen, and half of them don't. On Build and Peak they message you from here, it lands in your inbox with their email on it, and it gets counted, so at the end of the month you can see exactly what the thing brought in rather than having a feeling about it.

If $19 a month makes you wince, have a think about what one client is worth to you, then come back.

Before you ask

Does paying get me straight on the site?: No. Every listing lands in the same queue and I read every one of them. Paying gets you more room on the page, not a free pass. If you're not who you say you are I'm still not putting it up.
Can I change my mind?: Any time, from your account. Move up and it takes effect now, prorated. Move down or stop and it runs to the end of the month you've already paid for. Nothing you've written gets deleted either way: the photos and quotes above your new limit are hidden, not binned, and they come straight back if you come back.
What happens if I stop paying?: Your listing drops to Base and stays on the directory. I'm not pulling a physio off the site because a card expired. You lose the extras, not the entry.
What counts as a shoutout?: On Build it's one mention in the newsletter when you join. On Peak you're in the Support Crew block, which runs every week with a couple of listings in it on rotation, so you come round about once a month, plus a proper Q&A once a year.
I'm already on the directory.: Then don't add yourself again, you'll end up with two. Find your listing and there's a link on it to take it over. Can't find it, or it's got somebody else's name on it? Email me. Search the directory
Something went wrong.: Whoops, I've FKT it up 😫. Give it another crack in a sec, and if it's still munted, email me.
