The Solar Power NZ Skedaddle Trail Run is based at the majestic Island Hills Station, about 1.5 hours north of Christchurch.
The race includes five distances; 42km, 30km, 15km, 10km and a kids' 4km. All courses are point-to-point along stunning singletrack through this privately-owned, working, high country station. The event is named named after the highest point on the property, Mt Skedaddle (1704m).
With nature at the heart of the event, all proceeds will go towards conservation efforts in the Mandamus Preservation Reserve, which includes the largest QEII Open Space Covenant in Canterbury.
