Distances: 100K (Solo/Relay), 55K (Solo/Relay), 42.2K (Solo/Relay), 21.1K, 9K
The Trail Trilogy returns to the Hauraki Rail Trail on 19 October 2025 with five events from a 9km 'race the train' fun run to a 100km Ultra.
Each distance starts at a different location, with all finishing at Waihi's historic train station.
The courses maximise usage of the Hauraki Rail Trail, catering for runners and walkers. You’ll travel through native bush, farmland, and small-town magic. Enter solo or team up with whānau and friends (in the 42.2km, 55km and 100km event options).
From 2025 the event is now under new management.
