Blazing Hills is a trail run/walk event hosted on private farmland in the heart of the Waimarino on 14 March 2026.

Choose from a 4km, 6km, 11km or 21km distance and experience the trails on this vast hill country, which is varied, scenic and has hills that just keep on coming. All courses are designed to challenge the quads, except for the 4km trail, which is designed for all age groups and abilities who just want to get out and have fun.

There are also Obstacle Course Races (OCR) with 10km, 7km and 3km courses plus a Kids Challenge.

Participants will have a unique opportunity to access undiscovered territory and terrain over off-the-beaten tracks in an authentic part of NZ.
