The annual Marina 2 Marina in Picton on 27 September 2025 is a scenic running event in the heart of the Marlborough Sounds, that utilises the picturesque trails between Picton, Waikawa and Anakiwa.

The Link Run is a 24km run starting at Anakiwa Bay. The 13km Snout can be run or walked; it includes a few hard hill climbs but when you reach the top, the views are amazing. The 10km Marina 2 Marina fun/walk follows the Picton to Waikawa track and is an easy trail for novice runners and walkers.

The 2km Kids Dash is for children aged 5 to 9, and is held over the flat area of the Picton Marina carpark.

Drink and refreshment stations along the way add to the fun, and the event begins and ends in the festival atmosphere that is created with market stalls and entertainment at London Quay.
