The Mount Difficulty Ascent in Cromwell on 13 June 2026 is an extreme marathon or half marathon and is run alongside the Rustic Run and Walk, an easier event held on the same day.
This is an adventure run, meaning you can't run all of this course. The ups are really UP! You'll be hands on knees, puffing just to walk, at times you will be using your hands to help you scramble up some dirty, rocky slopes, maybe churning through snow.
