The Edridge Contracting Teetotal Traverse on 12 October 2025 is located in the beautiful Teetotal Flats / Big Bush Conservation Area on the edge of the Nelson Lakes National Park.

This is a challenging trail event for runners and walkers with a Half Marathon run, 13km run and a 8km run/walk. Each course ventures through this little-known Conservation Area, offering a day inhaling some pristine alpine air.

The event is organised by Nelson Tasman Community Sport Events/Active4Good. Proceeds from the event will be shared between Active4Good and two local charities, the MTB Trails Trust and Friends of Rotoiti Trust, to support their valuable work in this area.
