Ridge Runner Coromandel returns to the stunning Coromandel trails on 6 December 2025 with breath-taking terrain, lush native bush and epic ridgeline views.

Based on privately owned land with stunning 360 degree coastal views, the clockwise 24km course takes you from a valley, up onto the central Coromandel ridgeline and descends back to the valley floor again. There are 870m of climbing to be done, but you also get 870m of downhill. The terrain is a mix of farm and single track.

As well as the full 24km Ridge Run, there is also the Little Brother 12km distance. Runners and walkers are welcome with a generous 6.5 hour cut off for both distances.

Included in the entry fee is a gourmet burger, a night of camping (if you want to), and an after party with a bonfire marshmallows and lots of fun and laughter.
